Springfield Schools Foundation Welcomes Two New Board Members

The Springfield Schools Foundation announces the appointment of two new board members. The Foundation, which was formed in 2003, raises money to support innovative, teacher-initiated projects within the Springfield School District. The all-volunteer board consists of local leaders, business people and parents. "The Foundation works hard to put extra resources into the hands of capable and motivated teachers, so we need dedicated, hard-working board members." New members include:

Thanks to a Foundation grant, high school students were able to construct a wind tunnel that allows them to test the aerodynamics of rocket cars that engineering students build each year.
